Time to take action on your health

Time to take action.

When I had my pulmonary embolism 6 years ago I made a decision, that I would take personal responsibility for my health and over the intervening time I have become an avid reader and practitioner of all things health and wellness.

I now do talks and seminars on health and wellness and it is clear for a multitude of reasons that most people are unclear (to put it mildly) of basic awareness of how their bodies work from a general biological and hence wellness point of view and therefore as a consequence are not taking personal responsibility for their health. When they get sick they go and see their doctor, by which time it could be too late in some cases.

This general ignorance to health and wellness is now causing massive problems in society especially with the consequences of metabolic syndrome caused by epidemic levels of obesity, diabetes and dementia, it is also bankrupting the NHS at the same time.

This is not only a UK issue it is a Worldwide pandemic. At what point will governments take action? (and that is another story).

It is now time that we take the initiative and inform people the facts, and show them how they can take personal responsibility for their health and stay out of the doctor’s surgery.

There is a story to be told, it is not simple, but if you care for your health and that of your family you need to know what has happened. Bottom line here is that in 2017 we are now all products of a social experiment that was started 50 years and was/is called the ‘western diet’.  You have been ‘sold a pup’ as they say and you need to know the facts of what has been the consequences of this experiment.

Our mantra is Awareness + Prevention=Wellness. Our aim is to create and build a community of wellness advocates. I am also looking for like-minded passionate people to join us in taking our message to the people and to become part of a new leadership team. If you are interested to get involved, please contact me without delay.

If you are in the East Anglian area you can join us for our first meeting in Norwich on Wednesday 22nd November, 7.15pm registration for 7.30 start. Get Healthy – Stay Healthy – Microbiome and Heart Health Talk

Get Healthy – Stay Healthy

Microbiome and Heart Health Talk

Norwich Wednesday 22nd November 7.15pm

There is a paradox, that in the 21st Century for the first time in history we now know the science (and it is out there) of how the body functions in detail, we know how the biochemistry works inside our cells and how the key components of those cells respond to different foods.

We are also starting to understand how the health (or otherwise) of our microbiome (gut) is key to general wellbeing. And yet we are now sicker than we have ever been, what is going on?

We are in the midst of an epidemic of obesity and diabetes the likes of which the world has never seen. With obesity come a cluster of chronic diseases, Fatty liver disease, hypertension, Alzheimer’s, stroke, heart disease, gallbladder disease, diabetes, cancer, arthritis. This is going to bankrupt the NHS, it is already overwhelmed. Diabetes has increased 700% in the US since the 1960s the figures are astonishing.

Scientists are now saying that babies born today will not live as long as their parents. To me that is disgusting, what are we doing to ourselves and our children. What are governments doing about it? ……… nothing

We/all of us, have to ‘cut through the noise’ and understand the science and then take responsibility for our own and family’s health.

Our mantra is Awareness + Prevention=Wellness. Our aim is to create and build a community of wellness advocates. I am also looking for leaders, like-minded passionate people to join us in taking our message to the people and to become part of a new leadership team.
